Silver-halide photo paper is the traditional kind used for high-quality photo prints. It contains light-sensitive silver halide crystals that react to light exposure, creating a continuous-tone image with sharp details. Semi-matte

Semi-matte is sometimes interchangeable with "Lustre." It's roughly half-way between a no-shine matte and glossy. The paper is textured which helps reduce glare.
